# Build a matching Discord icon pack

> Pick a set of glyphs and they all inherit one style, exported as a zip of 64px PNGs plus a contact sheet.

Tool: [CARTIQO Tools](https://tools.cartiqo.app) - free, runs in the browser, no account needed.

A server usually needs a *set* of role icons that look related, not one good
icon. The pack tool takes the style you built on the Icons tab and applies it to
every glyph you select.

## How to make one

1. Build a style you like on the **Icons** tab first. That style is the pack's
   base.
2. Open the **Packs** tab and click glyphs in the library to add them.
3. Choose a colour mode:
   - **One style** - every icon identical except the glyph.
   - **Palette** - the set is recoloured across a curated palette.
   - **Spectrum** - hues are spread evenly across the set.
4. Export.

## What the export contains

- One **64px PNG per icon**, named after the glyph.
- A contact sheet showing the whole set together.

Each file is ready to drop into Server Settings then Roles.

## A detail that matters

Not every glyph survives being filled. 3048 of the
5013 icons have interior shapes that collapse when a solid fill is
applied - a coin's slot, a shield's charge. The pack decides fill per glyph
rather than inheriting the base style blindly, so an unfillable glyph stays an
outline instead of turning into a blob.
