# Fake a Discord profile badge

> Discord has no custom profile badges, so this cuts a wide plate into square custom emoji you paste into your About me.

Discord does not offer custom profile badges. This tool fakes one.

You design a single wide plate - text plus an optional glyph on either side -
and the tool cuts it into square **128x128**
tiles. You upload those tiles to a server as custom emoji in the order given,
then paste the resulting emoji string into your **About me**, where they render
side by side as one continuous badge.

## What the export contains

- One 128px PNG per tile, named in upload order.
- A text file with the upload order and the exact emoji string to paste.

## The cost to know about

A server gets **50 custom emoji slots** at base
tier, and every tile burns one. The editor counts the slots your current design
would consume as you work. Shorter text and tighter padding mean fewer tiles.

## How to make one

1. Open the **Badges** tab.
2. Type the badge text. Uppercase is usually more legible at emoji size.
3. Optionally add a glyph on the left, the right, or both.
4. Set the plate fill, corner radius, padding and border.
5. Watch the tile count. Keep it low.
6. Export the zip and follow the included upload order.
